About the artist
Cyndi Blue is an emerging artist and known for her bold brush strokes and striking colors. With an ability to paint in many different styles and using topics that many can connect to her art holds something for everyone. She has received many honors including being the artist in residence at Hat Ranch Winery and painting a mural at the Gem Center for the Arts.
The unique origin story: Her creativity was released through a violent car accident where she sustained a traumatic brain injury. She found hope through her art during her darkest hours including the loss of her daughter in 2019. Her wish is to share her journey, let others know that they are not alone in their pain, and help to bring hope to others. For Cyndi art is therapeutic, grounding, and healing.
In 2019 Cyndi lost her daughter, Heather, and struggles with grief. Heather was a disabled adult and Cyndi was her caretaker for 27 years. Diagnosed with CPTSD prior to the death of her daughter, this loss has created a daily struggle. Cyndi uses her art to help her speak what words can not describe, release emotions that have no definition, and in doing this others connect emotionally to what she has created.
